1. The name of the Society is the New Westminster Amateur Radio Club Society.
2. The purpose of the Society shall be:

(a) To provide amateur radio communications, related equipment, services, infrastructure, and technical assistance to any volunteer emergency communications programs within the community of New Westminster;

(b) To assist, when possible and requested, the community of New Westminster with non-emergency amateur radio communications support as a public service;

(c) To maintain local amateur radio equipment and infrastructure for use by members and the community;

(d) To provide learning opportunities for club members to develop their amateur radio skills and expertise, including experimentation with new technologies;

(e) To build a collaborative community of radio amateurs who are actively involved in the fun and adventure of local and global radio communications;

(f) To affiliate with other associations of local, national, or international jurisdiction if, in the opinion of this Society, such affiliation will be of benefit.
