Since the release was issued on June 7th asking for the public’s assistance in locating Mijia Du, Du has contacted her family members has advised them of her whereabouts that she is safe sound.

Grad party out of hand

Excavator stolen from construction site in North Vancouver
On Thursday, June 14, 2012 between 5:30 and 6:30 AM, a yellow John Deere 135 D excavator was stolen. The excavator (as pictured) was parked in a gated construction site at 1172 West 15th Street, North Vancouver and is valued at $178,000.00.

Panago teams up with Hope RCMP

During the month of May, the Hope RCMP were educating the community and issuing warnings to people specifically for not wearing their helmets while riding their bikes. Alleged thief tells police how easy it is
Chilliwack, BC: In recent months, the Lower Mainland District Integrated Forensic Identification Services has been working diligently alongside the UFVRD RCMP to identify suspects to combat property crime and put those responsible in jail. Recently, they were successful in locating a fingerprint from inside one of the many victim vehicles and was able to positively identify a suspect, who is a Chilliwack Prolific Offender.

Chilliwack RCMP's Crime Reduction Unit search warrant results in seizure of drugs, weapons and an explosive device.
On June 5, 2012, the Chilliwack RCMP Crime Reduction Unit (CRU) executed a search warrant under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act at two residences on Nowell Street in downtown Chilliwack that were suspected of being used to traffic drugs. As a result of those searches investigators have recovered a large quantity of illegal drugs, cash believed to be related to drug trafficking, a firearm, a number of dangerous or prohibited weapons as well as an explosive device.
